How do I connect my property portfolio to LicenceDesk?

Upload a file (CSV, Excel or JSON) or paste your portal feed URL — Kyero, Idealista, Resales Online, or any XML. We parse a sample and auto-map your columns onto our fields, green for the ones we recognise. Once you confirm, we import every property and check it against the relevant regional register.

What formats can I connect?

CSV and Excel (one row per property), Google Sheet (paste the share link), JSON (a flat array of objects), generic XML, and the portal feeds you already publish: Kyero, Idealista and Resales Online.

Spreadsheets are uploaded as a file; feeds can be a file or a URL. Your columns do not have to be named a particular way — that is sorted in the next step.

How does column mapping work?

After you upload, you see each of our fields with a dropdown of your columns. We fill in the ones we recognise — reference, municipality or province, licence, catastral reference (the property's official land-registry ID) and type. We mark them green and show up to four sample values from the chosen column.

Check it, fix anything, and confirm. The mapping is stored on the source and reused on every sync, so a header rename is caught rather than silently re-mapped. "Remap" reopens the screen.

Why do licence and catastral matter?

The audit matches each property to the register by its tourist-licence number or its catastral reference. Portal feeds are marketing exports, so they often carry neither. If yours does not, we warn you before importing: the properties still import, but there is nothing to check them against.

If your data does carry the number under a name we did not recognise, just map that column to "Tourist licence" or "Catastral" on the mapping screen.

What about the listing type?

The tourist-licence check only applies to short-term rentals. If your feed distinguishes the type, we map it and count how many are short-term. If it does not, we ask you to confirm all of them are short-term before importing, rather than assuming it for you.
